Searching for items:
 You can search for items throughout the entire store or specific departments using the 'search' facility located in the left-hand column. For the best results, always use short descriptive keywords and/or brand names. (e.g. oster clipper blade)
 Any products described using your chosen keywords will be quickly reported back for consideration. However, if the choices offered are unsuitable, an advanced search may prove more affective. Advanced searches permit the use of multiple keywords together with the selection of specific product categories.
 Tip! Since the website attempts to match specified keywords with individual product descriptions, always refer to products as singular items (ie. comb not combs).

Browsing the store:
 Looking around the store couldn't be easier, thanks to the browse facility located in the left-hand column beneath the search box. Here, shoppers are provided with a list of the different store departments which can be selected by clicking on the appropriate title.
 Choosing departments in this way, provides details of any specific promotions and special offers currently available. In addition, convenient links are provided, at the top of the screen, to related product categories which can be selected using the mouse. To view these products, simply click on the appropriate link.
 Interactive Store Index An alternative and faster way of browsing is to use the interactive store index. This feature allows you to browse multiple departments at the same time and view all the available product categories as one complete list.
 To use this feature, simply click on the buttons associated with each department in the browse box. This will reveal a drop-down menu listing all the product categories available. Some categories offer multiple styles or brands of products, which are indicated by a symbol. To view these, simply place your mouse pointer over the appropriate list entry.
 When you find a product category you'd like to view, point and click on it with your mouse. You will then be taken directly to the appropriate store department and category.

 If you find yourself overwhelmed by the variety and choice of products available, help is only a mouse click away. Quick and easy to use, our personal shopping service provides details of a range of products specifically tailoured for over 100 popular canine breeds.
 This service is great for pet owners, wanting professional advice in making an informed choice without wasting money. It is also useful for professional exhibitors looking to save time in choosing products specifically intended for their preferred breed.

Making a purchase:
 When you find a product you'd like to buy, specify the quantity and click on the 'Add to Basket' button. In some cases it may be necessary to state personal preferences (e.g size) so always be observant of any product options available.
 Once added, the store will provide an update of your current basket contents. After a short pause, you will then be returned to the store to continue shopping.
 When you're ready to confirm your order, simply click on the 'Go to Checkout' button and follow the instructions that appear on-screen.

Paying for your order:
 Having specified your order delivery details, you will be asked to confirm how you would like to pay for your order. There are 3 options available to you which will now be explained in more detail.
 Credit/Debit Card (Secure Online Payment) Choosing this method of payment will require you to provide details of your credit/debit card using the secure online payment services provided by Protx.
 Established in 1995, Protx is an innovative Internet solutions provider offering highly advanced e-commerce payment and security services. In addition and to further increase your protection from fraudulent transactions, Visa and Mastercard have now introduced 3-D Secure, an Internet version of the Chip and PIN system. If your chosen credit/debit card is compatible with this system, you may be asked to supply your four digit security number.

 Mail/Fax Payment Details Separately If you prefer not to supply details of your credit/debit card online, you can opt to send this information using your fax machine or through the post. Choosing this method of payment will provide you with a convenient form which must be printed and completed by hand.
 Payment details must be received within 10 working days. Failure to comply with this request, will result in order cancellation.
 Payment on Account (Authorised Account Holders Only) If you're an existing customer with an authorised credit account, you can make payment for your order using this method. Choosing this option will provide you with a printable order receipt, for accounting purposes, whilst your order is processed and an official invoice is produced.
 Attempts to pay for orders using this method, without account status, will be declined and referred to our accounts department for an alternative form of payment.

Order Processing:
 Orders are processed from Monday to Friday at 9:00am and 1:30pm each day. Any orders received during Saturday and Sunday will be safely stored until they can be processed on Monday morning.
 If you have requested a timed delivery service, please be aware of possible delays due to these elected processing times. To avoid any disappointment, please be sure to place your order before 1:30pm for a more reliable service.


Order Delivery:
 With payment received, orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours (subject to stock availability). Standard delivery times are listed below, which can sometimes be delayed due to postal disputes or failed attempts by the courier to make an earlier delivery.

Zone 2 (Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands) : 2-3 Working Days
